iProspect, launched in South Africa with the acquisition of Clickthinking,is one of South Africa’s oldest and most established search marketing and digital performance agencies. To celebrate refreshed beginnings in line with
s global business strategy, a viral video has been developed that shows what consumers searched for in 2011. The 3 minute visual spectacular, set to South African rock band Evolver One’s single “Stand”, showcases some statistics relevant to SA, Africa and the world, when it comes to internet usage in both the computer and mobile internet arenas.
“We could have spouted all sorts of facts and figures in charts and spreadsheets, but wanted to show marketers and consumers that we know our game and decided to put some hard hitting facts into a viral video instead,” said Pete Stewart, Managing Director, iProspect/Click Thinking, “Using the power of social media, and especially YouTube, we hope to share some important insights that will be noted, and appeal to both the consumer and the media marketing executive alike.”
