Grant Thornton has the expertise needed to help its clients navigate the complexities of the new Companies Act introduced in 2011, without its operations being over-constrained by regulation and red tape.
As such, it recently contracted PocketMedia® Solutions to produce a pocket-sized Z-CARD® which contains everything its clients need to know about the new Companies Act and how it will affect their specific company.
“We wanted to provide our clients with a guide that summarises the implications of the new Companies Act in a nutshell,” says Grant Thornton’s Pamela Grayman, National Marketing Principal.
The content of the Z-CARD® therefore includes information about how the new Companies Act will affect state-owned companies, public companies, private companies, personal liability companies, non-profit companies and close corporations.
It details the definition of each of these entity types and provides the client with user-friendly information about a range of topics including incorporation, annual returns, audits, company secretary, nominee shareholders and the number of members.
“Grant Thornton is one of the world’s leading organisations of independent assurance, tax and advisory firms. We help dynamic organisations unlock their potential for growth by providing meaningful, actionable advice through a broad range of services. We thus wanted to ensure that they all have the practical information they needed to implement the new Companies Act regulations,” adds Grayman.
