Zahara featured on Jet Club mag cover

As a tribute to her recent coup at the annual South African Music Awards, Jet Club Magazine features South African singer-songwriter Zahara, on the front cover of its July-August issue.

Not only did this up and coming 24-year-old walk off with an impressive eight awards at the SAMAs, including best female artist and album of the year, but her debut album, Loliwe, surpassed all expectations by reaching double platinum in just 19 days. A feat only ever achieved by the late great Brenda Fassie.

“Zahara embodies the Afro-soul hyphenated? style of her music, she’s a real inspiration to our youth and to South Africa” says editor, Linda Mali, it’s an honour to have her on the cover of our magazine.”

Fans can look out for the downloadable signed poster of Zahara, which will be available online at www.jetonline.co.za as soon as the July-August Jet Club magazine issue goes on street later this week.

Published by leading customer publishing agency, The Publishing Partnership, Jet Club currently has an annual readership of 4 336 million (AMPS Jan-Dec 2011), while Jet Online boasts equally impressive stats, with 57 528 unique visits, 218 238 page impressions and an average of 3.04 pages viewed per visit during June.
